Games for older adults: simple, pretty and easy to play on a phone
To choose a game for an older person, start with what they like. Then test text size, contrast, gestures and whether they can stop in the middle.
Adapt the device
Use a stand if holding the phone is uncomfortable. Try increasing the screen size or testing on a tablet. Let the person try the actions before explaining each menu.
Do one complete task
In Fazendinha Retrô, choose a bed together and follow it to the market. Notice whether the names and icons are enough to repeat the route in a later session.
