Safe games for kids: what to check before letting them play
Before letting a child play a game, check the age rating, ads, purchases, data collection and ways of contacting other people. Play the first session together to see the real flow.
Check settings and the account
Control purchases on the device, check whether there is chat or public sharing, and use a name that protects the child's identity. Explain how to leave and call an adult if something bothers them.
Check the game you plan to use
In Fazendinha Retrô, every account joins the leaderboard with the name and character picture chosen in the profile, with no email and no chat between players. For children, choose a name that does not identify the child or use Leaderboard → Leave the leaderboard. Read the privacy policy before creating the account.
