FarmVille is gone: the best alternatives to play today
The original FarmVille on Facebook shut down in December 2020. When looking for alternatives, it helps to separate that game from the series and from the games that inherited its way of organizing production, neighbors and expansion.
What to compare
Zynga's official history lists the original among the games it launched on Facebook. When looking for a successor, decide whether you want orders, decoration or social interaction. Check the platform and see how long it takes to complete a full order.
Three options to play today
The official FarmVille 2 page shows Zynga's sequel, and the studio offers a desktop launcher. FarmVille 3 puts animals first on mobile. To play from a link, Fazendinha Retrô brings farming, storage and a market together in a browser campaign.
Names of other games, stores and companies mentioned belong to their owners. Fazendinha Retrô is not affiliated with them; details come from their official pages as of the update date.
