Orkut games that defined an era (and the ones you can still play)
Colheita Feliz, Mini Fazenda, Café Mania and Guitar Flash shaped Orkut with different routines. While the farms and the café asked you to come back often, Guitar Flash challenged you to hit notes in time with the music.
The farms and the café
In Colheita Feliz, harvests and visits were the meeting point. Mini Fazenda revolved around daily farming tasks. Café Mania swapped the garden for a kitchen and a dining room. A UFES study on Orkut records how Vostu's two games worked.
What you can still open
Guitar Flash has a current version on its own site. The Orkut version and the games that depended on that platform lost access when Google shut it down. To revisit social farming, start with the Colheita Feliz guide and the browser alternatives linked from it.
