Games that teach kids responsibility in a light way
A light way to practice responsibility is to agree on a small task, remember when it happens and look at the result together. A virtual farm lets kids try before caring for a living thing.
Use one role at a time
Let the child choose between watering a bed and caring for a virtual chicken. Ask what will need to be done on the next game day and what sign helps them remember.
Talk afterwards
Ask what worked and what you could simplify. In a real garden, share the care with an adult so the plant gets water even when the child forgets.
