Pixel art games to play in your browser
A pixel art game is easier to read when characters, items and scenery share the same visual density. In the browser, the image also needs to stay clear when the window size changes.

The two-screen test
Open the game on a phone and on a computer. Check that lettuce, the watering can and energy are recognizable at both sizes and that the focus of the action stays visible when the camera moves.
A farming example
In Fazendinha Retrô, notice the difference in silhouette between seed, sprout and ripe plant. The art helps you decide before opening any menu.
