Offline farming games: which ones work without internet
To play a farming game without a connection, try a version whose developer states it supports offline play. Farm Dream and Idle Farming Empire on Android and Pocket Acres on iPhone offer that option according to their store listings.

Compare the options
Farm Dream combines farming with town building. Idle Farming Empire focuses on automating the farm. Both list ads and purchases. Pocket Acres has six crops and states that it runs offline on iPhone. Leaderboards and cloud sync depend on a connection.
Run a simple test
With a connection, start a farm and save after the first harvest. Turn on airplane mode, close the tab and open the game again. Check whether you can continue and whether actions taken offline reappear when the connection returns.
Know the limits
Installing an icon on the home screen does not prove offline support by itself. Test before traveling and notice whether the game needs internet just to open, to recover your save or for a specific feature.
