Cozy games: what they are and the best ones to start with
Cozy games are games people seek out for their warm atmosphere and for activities that leave room to experiment. The term describes an experience, which can involve organizing a house, growing plants or exploring a village.
Choose by type of task
If you like seeing progress right away, look for a short-cycle garden. If you prefer discovering stories, try games with villagers and conversations. Check how the game handles mistakes and breaks.
Three games to start with
In Fazendinha Retrô, try a small bed and visit the market after the first harvest. In Chicky Farm, look after chickens and organize egg collection. In Pela Gardens, try a tropical farm with room to choose crops and fill orders.
Names of other games, stores and companies mentioned belong to their owners. Fazendinha Retrô is not affiliated with them; details come from their official pages as of the update date.
